service projects policy
At provisional club stage, we decided on a project policy that is still followed today. We
choose to address the most urgent community problems with a few
large projects to avoid sprinkling small amounts of money over too
many activities.
We budget each year for small community projects, but
often individual members take care of such needs. Occasionally, we
also coordinate small projects of foreign Rotary clubs that
require a local partner.
|
funding
Since being chartered in 2001, the club has raised well over $1
million for its projects.
About 20 % each were raised from Matching Grants, other Rotary
Clubs, The Rotary Foundation, international donor organizations and
various individuals wanting to help make a difference.
|
how you can help
We work with individuals and Rotary Clubs from all over the world
who want to contribute to international service projects.
We have a Foundation account in US to facilitate tax-free
donations. This is useful for individuals as well as for
smaller amounts from other Rotary Clubs. We have extensive
experience in generating Matching Grants with other Clubs, and can
help facilitate this process. Please
contact us for more information about how you can contribute to
the project of your choice. |
